Nordisk Återvinning is owned by NG Nordic, which has 3400 employees and 90 facilities in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark handling 4.4 million tons of waste annually. We are a leading Nordic provider of circular solutions and environmental services addressing the urgent challenges of climate change and resource scarcity. By transforming waste into valuable resources and removing hazardous substances from the cycle, we avoid emissions and protect natural ecosystems. Nordisk Återvinning provides waste management services to municipalities and inter-municipal waste companies across the country. We collect all types of household waste, but it can also involve related services such as operating recycling stations, waste management in recreational areas, transportation of bulky waste, etc.
About the Job
We are looking for two engaged and self-driven transport leaders for our household contract startup in Sollentuna. You will be involved from the beginning and shape the operations ahead of the traffic start on October 1, 2026. As a transport leader at Nordisk Återvinning Service, you will have your own responsibilities and the opportunity to influence your daily work. You will be responsible for planning the daily operations together with a couple of other transport leaders, reporting to the operations manager. It is required that you are a clear and direct leader who can handle daily personnel issues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and leading the daily operations together in a team with the operations manager and transport leaders.
- Administrative tasks such as time reporting, order management, workshop bookings, and workplace safety matters.
- You are the contact person for our clients to ensure that drivers deliver service and quality.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is positive, creative, good at finding solutions, and highly engaged. We believe you have previous experience in leadership and personnel management, preferably from waste management or similar operations. Experience driving a garbage truck, having a C driver's license, and YKB is an advantage. You have good computer skills, are meticulous, and used to making quick decisions as the work can vary from day to day. You speak and write fluent Swedish.

We are looking for a team player who can also take on the role of a leader and manage situations when needed. You should have the ability to quickly and effectively solve problems that arise in operations and ensure continuity in the business. Your leadership skills should be strong, and you should be able to motivate and support the team to achieve common goals.
